Spaceship Airdrop
You started with a planet. Now it’s time to fly.
When we began development on Project Nebula the plan was to grab a planet in order to explore the universe. With further development we realized that owning a spaceship made way more (and way cooler) sense for travelling through the void.
As the requirements have changed for space travel prior to launch, you deserve a ship or two (or more?) for free. Get ready for the airdrop, Generation Zero planet owners.

Here’s the deets:
☝️Snapshot: Project Nebula will snapshot the wallet addresses of all Generation Zero planet owners on April 5th, 2021 at 12:00 UTC.
✌️Airdrop: Project Nebula will start airdropping spaceships after the snapshot to wallet holders based on a simple scoring formula (read on!).
Are you ready to see your fleet options, explorer? We’ve created a special squadron of Generation Zero vessels just for you. We’ll be sure to unveil the vessels via Twitter starting next week (March 22–27). They need a fresh coat of wax before being taken out of the hangar.
Minting the NFTs
ICON Forge won’t mint any Generation Zero ships until we know the total necessary supply required to fulfil the airdrop offering. There will be no further Generation Zero spaceships minted in the future, other than described in this article.
ICON Forge will mint an additional 500 Tier 1 spaceships and 10% of the other Tier supplies rounded up with a minimum of one ship per tier. These will be held and used for marketing and rewards as seen fit by ICON Forge.
Calculating points and dropping ships
Explorers are welcome to securely and safely transport planets between wallets to divvy up their points to target different tiers of ships, but wallets will be scored individually.
An ICON wallet address with 1 Uncommon, 1 Rare, and 1 Legendary planet would be worth 11 points. The owner of that wallet would receive two Tier 1 ships and one Tier 3. If the owner of that wallet split their planets up between two addresses, they could receive three Tier 2 ships and two from Tier 1. This is completely up to the player.
You will receive multiple ships to ensure all points are used. Please note that only one active ship is allowed at launch, but you can sell extra ships in the marketplace or hold them in wallets (recommend changing oil every 1–2 months to ensure peak engine performance when started).
Marketplace
You will absolutely be able to sell your spaceships on the marketplace after the airdrop. We’re excited to see the same community that has driven so much value into planet NFTs begin to build a market for spaceships additionally.
In conclusion
We’ll snapshot Generation Zero planet owners’ wallets on April 5th at 12:00 UTC. We’ll start airdropping over the second week of April.
The marketplace will accept spaceships as soon as the first airdrop is made!
